A building design and construction program is a structured plan that defines:

A construction schedule is created with clear phases: site preparation, foundations, structural works, envelope, interior works, utilities, and finishing. Each stage has deadlines, responsible teams, and resource planning.
5) Construction & Supervision
During construction, the program acts as the main reference point. Progress is monitored against the schedule, quality is checked against the design, and any changes are documented and approved.
6) Handover & Post-Construction
When works are completed, the building is inspected, tested, and handed over to the client with all necessary documentation. Sometimes the program includes a period of post-construction support and defect correction.
